Support Policies
Phone and Ticket Manager Support Policy:
A
support technician is responsible for supporting the default configurations of
our hosting servers. This includes the initial setup and configuration of the
third party features included with your hosting service as outlined in our
shared
hosting packages.
It is important to note that a number of technical issues
are considered unsupported; they fall outside of our technical support boundaries.
As such, the customer is not guaranteed any form of assistance from DK Web Designs.
Unsupported issues include:
1.
Custom configuration and detailed usability questions pertaining to your included
third party features. These questions must be directed to the third party vendor.
2. Questions related to a third party product or script that you introduce
to the server. These questions must be directed to the third party vendor or creator
of the script.
Our support staff will not and cannot fulfill programming,
debugging, and/or script requests that were not created or programmed by our staff.
We will perform a 'best effort' support for programming issues insofar as they
relate to initial installation, programming done by our staff, or as they relate
to initial installation and configuration in the selected DK Web Designs server
environment. For example, a test script may be installed to verify that the server
is functioning correctly. Our support staff may be able to assist in referring
and/or recommending resources to assist the customer in working towards resolving
the customer's unsupported issues.
Please keep in mind that we offer technological
expertise with regard to our shared and accounts and not web development or consulting
unless you are having us provide web development or consulting services.
