Transferring
your domain This article has been put in place in order for DK Web
Designs to host your domain name and associate it with your hosting service. For
this process to be completed successfully a domain name modification request needs
to be placed with the company that your domain name is registered with, this is
known as your domain registrar.
The
domain modification/transfer process is the complete responsibility of the customer
(the domain owner). If you need assistance transferring your domain name,
please contact your domain registrar for technical support - you've paid for this
support by virtue of owning a domain name with the registrar. It is important
to understand that DK Web Designs has no more power to transfer your domain than
a complete stranger would.
In order for DK Web Designs
to correctly resolve your domain name to the IP address of your hosting account,
your domain name nameservers must reflect the following DK Web Designs server
information.
Primary
Server Hostname: ns1.gearhost.com
Primary Netaddress: 69.24.64.11
Secondary Server Hostname: ns2.gearhost.com
Secondary Netaddress: 69.24.64.12
To
provide additional security and management capabilities it is advised that DK
Web Designs be listed as the technical contact for your domain.
